I would like to hear anybody's comments on using the SS1650 saw. I purchased one last year, and am pleased with it so far. After reading some of the reviews on the Delta 40-540, plus some others, I feel this tool is not all that bad for the price.
I made my own stand, and the saw does not vibrate excessively at all. I even weighted the stand with lead to make it heavier.
Currently, I am making X-mas presants for the family.

How does everyone like their SS1650?
If I can find a HD with one I would like to see it in person.
Jake, what's the list price?
Thanks
Rick

If anyone who has a SS1650 would be kind enough, I have a question to ask. I'm having trouble with the Blade Guard. I can't get it stationery. It slides and I can't cut. I've tried to tighten the "Work Hold Down Foot", but the blade guard still moves? Why is this happening, and what can I do?
Thanks in advance.

I've got one but I've never used it. I picked it up right before they discontinued it. I am seeling it on ebay for $75 reserve to help pay for a new TS 2400 portable I want. My ebay username is woodcat47 and the item number is
2058447804.
