A friend of mine has bought a 13" ridgid planer and the crank handle is missing. He said he has tried twice to get the missing part but so far no luck.I told him I would see if anyone here knew of a way to help him get the right part.Any suggestions? This sounds like a minor problem and I'm sure I can get the info from here to set the problem straight.
Thanks, Donny

Donny,

How did he try to get the part? HD? Heeheeehhe

He can call Ridgid support at 800-4-RIDGID or order it on-line.

www.ridgidparts.com (http://www.ridgidparts.com)

This is the actual page for the TP. He can find the part number and order it from this page.

Donny,

I'm sure the part can be ordered from Ridgid parts site. Just have him go to http://www.ridgidparts.com/ and enter the model number, and scroll through the drawing and pick the part he's missing.

If it's a new piece of machinery, and missing from the box, he can either return it to HD and get another unit, or call 1-800-4-RIDGID and they should send him one free of charge.

Wish him luck!

Donny,

Tell him to call 1-800-4RIDGID and they will get that part sent out to him. If he goes to www.ridgidparts.com (http://www.ridgidparts.com) he will have to pay for it, an he shouldn't have to if the part was missing from a new unit. If he still has trouble contact me via email.
