TP1300 Country of Manufacture

I noticed that a few of the Ridgid tools clearly state that they are manufactured in the U.S.A. However, I could not find a country of origin tag on the TP1300. Where is this tool manufactured? I want to purchase U.S.-made tools, but I am beginning to believe that I must be in fantasy land when it comes to portable planers.

The TP1300 is made in Taiwan. As every other portable thickness planer on the market (and most of the large stationary units are made overseas as well).
