Router Razier- Can I build one?

I have a Hitachi router (the obviuos one) and it is mounted on a router plate that I got from Rockers on a half off sale. I want to make an adjustment handle to fit it throught the top. Is this possible? Thanks for any suggestions.

It should be possible since Hitachi offers a height adjustment knob for M12V. Amazon has it for $24.99 which seems steep to me but would certainly be the easiest way to go. I guess you would have to judge whether making one is worth your time.
