115 Volt vs 230 Volt

I was just in another forum about the difference in the two. My question is can I change over my TS2400 for 230 volt? :D

What does your instruction manual say? :rolleyes: See page 9. Specs will tell you if it is 115/230 compatible and how to convert. In this instance it is not convertible to 230.

Hergy's right, the TS2400 is not able to run on 240v power. The jobsite saw has a universal motor so it is much less susceptible to low voltage than an induction motored machine and thats where the advantages of 240 over 120 show up. You are a lot less likely to have a voltage drop across the line on 240v than 120v.
