Dust collection

I have moved my wood shop from the basement to the garage and have added more tools and I need help in designing a dust collection system.

The lates copy of American Woodworker has a great article in it about a DC system and it's construction...I plan on keeping that issue til I'm ready to build one.

I'm with you Kelly. I've got my eye on an Onieda system kind of like that article. Need to get a few more graphic projects to pay for that one though.

I guess I could make sure dust "infiltrates" up from my basement shop so my wife will insist on a dust collector. smile.gif

My to do first list is huge...I have to get the ceiling redone (remove the sh*trock) and floor the attic...wall it of from the rest of the house...open up the center creating two lofts, build the outside storage for my yard tools, get a automatic garage door opener installed, then I can start getting the shop dedicated to ww'ing starting with the DC system and a bandsaw...except of course the occasional El Camino parking spot... smile.gif

Of course this all means a lot of jobs must come my way first, so I'm with ya on that front.
