JP0610 Removing Pin From Infeed Table Extention?

I am getting closer to Cutting a Rabbet on the Joiner.
The stop Pin for the blade guard is in the way!
How is it removed?

I'm curious about this also. Has anyone done any Rabbeting on their Jointer? Do you just yank the pin out? :confused:
