GFCI failure

I was checking a return line (8") in the bottom of a pool, the GFCI failed and I got a nice shock (wouldn't recomend it to anyone)
How can I fix this?
Can i just buy a GFCI receptacle and connect to it the seesnake?
Also the camera seemed to be failing, turning on and off, how can I fix this?

I would not recommend attaching any other plug to the Seesnake other than one that is installed by a Ridgid Service Center. As well, the intermittent camera problem could be a problem with any number of things. I recommend contacting Ridge Tool Technical Service @ 800-519-3456.
