I wouldn't call it a race, but I didn't check to see if the trigger was locked on mine one time before i plugged it in. Unfortunately, it was on a 50' cord and ran till it unpluged itself. At first it was hilarious, until I discovered that it stopped in a puddle. After then it didn't work too good anymore. The moral of the story...always check the trigger lock or learn the hard way like I did.
