View Full Version : Compressed Air
We are a manufacturing shop considering using the ProPress system for water lines and compressed air (120 psi). Has anyone else used it for compressed air?

ggb, i have not used it for compressed air yet. but i did look uo the ratings and approvals. this is on the blak o-ring seal (epdm).
it has a working pressure of 200#psi with a test pressure of 600#psi and a temperature range of 0-250 degrees f. air is approved(cleaned, dried, filtered)

We have just completed a job with a 2-1/2" copper main line with smaller lines tapping off the main and going to various pieces of equipment.
Worked great.
Did you use the standards fittings for water or the special ones that allow for oil in your air systems? We have very clean dry air, so I am trying to get an idea if I need to stock two different types of fittings.
Thanks,

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you on this.
We used the standard fittings.
