TS2400 Table Saw Motor

I have a TS2400 10" Contractors Table Saw that was given to me from a friend that passed away (His wife actually gave it to me) and I have used the tool for about a year and the motor burned up in the tool. A friend of mine can get it rewound were he works (they build prototype motors) but he needs some information about the armature and field (wire size, no. of windings, etc). Is there a way of getting this information, it will save me about $200?
