Another idea for battery powered tools that would be very helpful would be an 18volt belt sander and 18volt 1/4 sheet sander.

18v Belt sander is $129 @ HD, by Ridgid. I think it may be clearanced, ask Plumber.

Are you sure your not thinking about the jig saw that is currently being clearanced out? I've never seen an 18volt belt sander by any-one. If your HD still has them in stock then let me know and I'll pay you for one. Thanks

PhilG Ridgid does make: a benchtop belt/disk sander (EB4424), a drill press (DP1150), and the 18v cordless toothbrush (TB0700).

I so far enjoy the Cordless tooth brush, My teeth have never been whiter! With 3 speeds and oscillating head action the plauge and grim is blasted right off! (NOT SUITIBLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 10 AND NOT FOR THOSE WITH SENSITIVE GUMS):D :D

Boy,
The air must be thin here on this board.

I never mentioned any cordless tools in this thread, but every other CSO here took off on their own unicorn.

I guess, from now own, I'll have to type with one hand behind my back on this forum so the CSOs here will understand.

or maybe I'm still winded from going up and down stairs all day carrying parts.
I thought the tooth brush was funny, and yes an electric chainsaw would be nice but not an 18v. I laugh whenver i see ryobi's chainsaw:D :D Never make a cordless for the job of a corded tool.
