****ed Over Rebuilt Dodges are the only way to go. You can put a billion miles or pounds on them and not worry about it. Been a pipefitter for years and you cant go wrong ( especially the powerstoke diesel f350, 4x4 crewcab duallie unless you go w/ a excursion).

I have a 1973 C-20 Chevy Cheyenne 350/400/4.10...wouldn't be caught dead in anything else. This truck is tough as nails and I've got no payments...what could be better than that?

I have to say Ford is my game-both of mine (89 and 95) have over 200K on them and the 95 eats Toyotas 2 at a time when on ice and doesn't stop. A brand new Tundra (still had Intransit sticker) and a 1 year old 4 Runner with a Lawyer inside! Well it still drove home, more than I can say for the 4Runner. r

I was an auto body tech for 17 years. So I seen how they were all put together. Things change over years without a doubt. Since GM turned to robotic assembly, I wouldn't spend a dime on GM. Older one, definetly. Can't say I'd consider a forieng brand name unless it was Mazda.
Dodge and Ford run head to head in the newer models, both with excellent diesels. The older body style dodges, well, it's put to rest.
I have to admit, that the individuals attention to maintanece and driving habits obtain longevity with most any brand. Also the terrain it's used on.
My 98 Ranger has over 170k miles on it, not even a wheel alignment yet. But I travel on average 200 miles a day on freeway. But speeds ranging from 75 to 90. Depending on time of day and traffic flow. So in closing, I own Ford.

My truck is a 2000 Chevy Silverado, extended cab shortbox stepside with a hard cover... 5.3L V8, automatic... It suits me just fine... Pulls my 18' flatbed trailer great...

I own a 2003 Ford Ranger. I hope I have as good an experience as Rick and UO_Woody have!
