The threadline above this one is for new tool ideas. I have a need for a particular tool that is not made, at least to my knowledge. It would be very beneficial to most commercial and industrial plumbers who use large cast iron pipe, 6 inches and larger in diameter. However, it is not my inclination to simply broadcast an idea for a lucrative tool for the whole world to see and use without my being allowed a percentage for my intellectual property.
Like some of Ridgids other good American made equipment this would not need to be mass produced by communist slaves to generate huge numbers in order to sell retail cheaper than everyone else. It could be made here by our fellow Americans earning a good enough wage to buy a modest home and send their kids to a reasonable school.
Ridgid needs to have a downloadable form that can be dated and notarized for submission to consider. Both for new tool ideas and for tool improvement suggestions.
