When vac is used to take up water, do you remove the filter or leave it in the vac. I'm not sure I didn"t get the instruction manual in the box when purchased.
Technically, you should remove the filter for wet applications. It will work with the filter in but then you have to let it dry out. If it is used in wet applications with the filter in you can decrease the amount of drying time by running the vac with the wet filter installed, the airflow of the vac will dry it out quicker.
