I have a Makita RF-1101 kit. Last time I checked Makita does not make a "template guide kit" Are they all universal? Milwauke makes one....

Will these fit or will I need an adapter?

Space,
According to the marketing sheet: Makita sub-base accepts industry standard template guides for convenience.
Porter Cable makes a good set. I am sure that the Milwauke will work fine too.

Ed, I have this set. http://www.woodcraft.com/family.aspx?DeptID=2278&FamilyID=4855 works great and fits most standard routers.

Space,
The set Papadan referenced will work. The Makita works with any PC sized guide bushing.
How do you like the Makita? I liked my first one so much, that I bought another one. The nice thing is that I also have a couple of PC's and the bushing sets work on any of them.

The Woodcraft set is $30, I caught it on sale for $24. The same set at WC in the PC brand is $45. The WC and PC brands are both made of brass, The set you linked to is steel, I would not use steel bushings on my router, one slip and the bushing could distroy a valuable bit.
