laser question

just picked up new wood magazine today...it had a review of a laser that mounts in place of the washer that goes next to the saw blade....has anyone used this yet...price?

IMHO the disc type lasers are not worth the money. They rarely if ever project the exact cutting edge of the blade, the are not adjustable and the blade must be spinning before they turn on. If you really must have a laser I would suggest this one...

If its important to you that the laser line be the actual cutline then these types of lasers aren't the best choice.
