When installing a whirlpool with the leveling feet on the bottom can construction adhesive be used on these or is a mortar bed the best way to go.

There is a product that I have found to work better than mortar. It is called "Structo-Lite" and is made by US Gypsum. Most lumberyards carry this product. I have found it easier to use than mortar, and also easier to clean up.
