Battery chargers

I havent purchased a new cordless power tool for a number of years. The chargers I bought then were not regulated and destroyed batterys faster than I could take a break. The RapidMax charger is very fast, but must I worry about leaving it in the charger too long and destroying the battery?

I think the fan still running is to remind you to remove the battery.. it works for me...

So-called "rapid" chargers are indeed regulated, but you still shouldn't use them as a parking place. I recommend this rule of thumb: when the indicator says the battery is charged, it is 80% charged. Leave it in the charger for another 2-3 hours, if you have the time, and then remove it.
