TS 2400 Motor Issue

After my TS2400 (old version- Gray) tripped the circuit a couple of times, this has never happend before in the 4 years I have owned it, the motor would not start again. The newer version has a reset button to the right of the on/off switch, the older version does not. Should I start by replacing the fuse attached to the switch or should I just put on a new motor or both?

Don't the grey ones have a lifetime warranty? Take it in for service. Check the breaker first. Breakers get old and wear out. It may be that the breaker is tripping at less than the rated current and after tripping a few times will not reset.

Check the fuse then call ridgid. Lifetime warrenty will get you a new motor.

The Full Lifetime Warranty on the Emerson built grey tools says that "RIDGID® tools are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and material." Unlike the current lifetime service agreement, it does not include coverage of parts that fail due to normal wear and tear. So, unless your problem is due to defective workmanship or materials, the Emerson warranty will not pay to fix your saw.

Is the fuse part of the Bezel Switch? If not, where is it located?

I don't think there is a fuse on the saw, likely only a self resetting thermal overload on the motor. The breaker I was referring to is in your circuit panel.

I have the GRAY TS2400, never had a problem with it. The way you posted sounded like you found a fuse in the switch. I don't know, never looked for one.
