Can't Open chuck on new X2 Hammer

Used the X2 Hammer drill that came with my 4 piece combo one ( that's 1) time to drill one hole and now I can't get the chuck to open, it won't turn. I haven't tried pliers yet. Any ideas?

well you need pliers. then take it back and ask if you can get a new chuck put on.
