TS 3650 C.I Wings not level

Hi,

I just checked on my final TS 3650 assy and I notice that the C.I wings are not quite parallel to the main CI top. At the outer ends of the wings, there's almost a 1/16" gap when I lay a straight edge on the main table. While assy. try as I would, even with the C clamps, I could not get this perfectly level.

Is this normal? Has anyone used any other means of doing this to make it perfect? ... like shims or something?

I would think that you could use some type of shim to correct this. You might try cutting or grinding some steel washers in half to shim up the bottom part of the extension.

Pieces of cut up pop cans make great shims too. For slight adjustments you can use built up pieces of masking tape.
