138 cuter help

i have 3 138 ridgid plastic pipe cuters,
i have replaced the cuting blad in two of them
now thay do not work
does anyone have this same problem and is ther
a fix

There are a couple of springs in the cutter that could be missing or out of position. This could cause the cutter to malfunction. One spring is positioned under the release trigger and the other retracts the blade. I would give our technical service department a call toll-free at 1800 519-3456. They will be able to talk you through the proper installation of these springs. I hope this is of some assistance to you.
