Ridgid DP1550 & Delta mortising attachment

I own a Delta mortising attachment kit for about 6 months which i used only once to try it, only drilled one hole with it. About 3 weeks ago I bought the Ridgid drill press DP1550. What a disapointment when I found that the Delta mortising kit does not fit well on my new american built drill press. Any one has any suggestion?

yup, buy a bench top mortiser and quit wasting wood!

The Ridgid DP1550 is built in China not the US.

The Harbor Freight machine is on sale at $99 and I've had one over a year and not had any problems with it. Great for the money considering how often you used your Delta attachment
