True or False Oxygen is a flammable Gas???
1) True
2) False

false, oxygen is an accelerant. Your fuel is the flammable part.

agreed. although not flammable by itself it is required to allow fire to burn. w ithout it no fire.
this does bring up a question in my mind...i have a mapp gas and oxygen torch (one of those little guys you can buy at home depot or sears), takes the standard tanks. how well would it work with a propane cylinder attached?
As Tony 597 stated the answer is false, oxygen is an accelerant. it can cause a extreemly hot flash fire, but only if a flame, such as a cigarette,is present. Hence "No Smoking" when pure oxygen is present.

Oxygen is an oxidizer. It is not an accelerant.
