View Full Version : WE NEED SURVEY IDEAS!!!! (***bribes inside***)
Alright guys and girls... we need some ideas for future RIDGID Surveys. If you don't know what I am talking about take a look at our front page www.ridgid.com (http://www.ridgid.com) and in the middle of the page under the big worksite picture is a few lines about the RIDGID Survey. Take a look at all the results of the previous surveys. Some of them are pretty interesting. So if there has been a burning question that you would like to poll the RIDGID community on here's you chance to get it answered. Format your idea something like this...
"What is your favorite color?"
A. Red
B. Green
C. Blue
*** We will use some of these survey ideas on our front page. As an incentive, each person who has a survey idea selected will receive their choice of a RIDGID calendar or an assortment of RIDGID decals. We will contact you when we use the idea. ***

No Assembly Required? :D
How about this question?
Would you be willing to pay 10% extra for a Ridgid Tool that was FACTORY ASSEMBLED and ready to use?
After assembling the TS2424 Table Saw, and the WL1200LS Lathe in a weekend I can tell you I would have gladly paid the extra cash to make chips all weekend rather than turning a wrench.
It may not be feasible shipping wise (though weight would be the same), but it sure would be nice. While the Home Depot offers an assembly option at the store, I would prefer to do it myself over having it assembled by a stocker they hired last week. (We are talking my fingers here). Not to mention that the factory assembly from Ridgid is excellent. Everything is right-on out of the box.
What do you think?

Here is my suggestion for the poll:
"RIDGID's incredible Limited Lifetime Service Warranty promotion on power tools purchased until December 31, 2003 is the best in the business!
Taking advantage of this special promotion period, how much do you plan to spend on new RIDGID tools that you would not have spent on tools otherwise?"
</font> $3000+</font> $2000</font> $1500</font> $1000</font> $750</font> $500</font> $400</font> $300</font> $200</font> $100</font> $0, I am not interested</font>
This is a more long-term type poll that I would recommend leaving up for at least a month or more or until the promotion ends to get more meaningful and interesting results.
