MISSING SERIAL NUMBER!!!!

Okay, I think I've read something about this before. I tried a search but found nothing. I was thinking about taking my "Lifetime Warranty" Ridgid drill in for chuck wobble. Just looked at the Serial Number and it is GONE. I don't mean rubbed off or scratched off, it is GONE!!! Now what do I do???

The main thing is that you have your dated receipt. You certainly can't help if the tool's SN is faded. But you should be aware that the HD receipts also fade, so I hope you have made yourself a copy.

The new tools have a 3 year warrenty instead of the lifetime, but they have not been out that long so there should not be any problem now with getting it fixed.

Plus your batteries have a serial number, so they can tell your SN just checking what drill came with those batteries. Same thing happend with me, i got no problem send it to the service under warranty.
