mobile base for the Ridgid joiner, JP0610

Has anyone attached a mobile base to the above joiner? Any recommendations would be appreciated as I have limited space and need all of my equipment mobile.

Search the past forum topics, there are at least a dozen past threads about a mobile base for the jointer.

Look for UO_Woody's post with photos of the very nice base he built a couple years ago that so many requested copies of his plan so they could make their own version.

All I did was take some 2X4's and make a base. Then I ran stringers across at the corners and attached some casters.

Seems to work well for me

I tried it with Rocklers mobile base. Dont use it for the jointer, it doesn't work well.

Rafael, can you clarify why the Rockler base doesn't work well? I haven't bought the jointer yet but I did buy a Rockler base for it in anticipation...
