I don't have overhead sewer in this house and want to install a backflow valve rather than converting over to an ejector pump with other modifications. What's your opinion and experience with backflow valves. Are they reliable? I'm remodeling basement and don't want it ruined by a flood. This house had a flooded basement twice in fifty years.
