K-50 Update

I am not able to bust through the clog w/ the K-50. I was talking to a guy at the hardware store and he said that I could drill small inspection holes in the pipe if I know where the clog is. Does this sound reasonable?

No. Why not just cut out the section of the pipe that has the clog, instead of just ruining the pipe by drilling holes in the pipe?
I can not tell from the post why you decided to go rent a sewer auger.
