When am I going to see an 18v impact?

I've heard you can get a 18v impact driver with certain combo kits. That's cool and all, but when am I going to be able to buy one separately to add to my current year old 4pc kit?

I would call RIDGID Customer service with that question. Maybe they can grandfather you into the promotion...ask for TOM C. Customer Support. He helped me with a similar issue and his name pops up on the forum from time to time as THE man to approve customer satisfaction issues...best of luck.
