I purchased a ms1250ls compound miter and would like to add a laser to it. I contacted Ridgid to recommend one, either their Exactline or another. I was told the Exactline would not work because the saw was not designed for it and they did not offer a solution. I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Jerry

If it's a 1250 LZ it has the laser.
Anyway, I spoke to a Ridgid Rep./Mechincal Engineer and asked him a bunch of questions.
He showed me that all the floor displays have the lasers stolen. They will not work on any other saw including an older Ridgid. There is not enough room to install it. So your out of luck with that.
We also talked about the laser vs actual cut.
He said the laser should be 1/32" to the LEFT of the cut. It's a visual reference point only!
