I heard that Ridgid was making a brad / stapler combo gun.

Confirmed by several workers at Home Depot.

Anyone have anymore comformation.

I don't know if Ridgid has come out with one of these combo guns yet or not. But, if they have, it wouldn't be something I'd even consider buying.

Unless Ridgid has somehow figured out a way to eliminate the staple sized dimple left in the wood when using a combo gun like this in the brad nailer mode, combo guns like these have little value as a fine woodworking tool. Granted, it would be a different story if the gun would be used basically for applications where the nailing area for both brad and stapler applications was hidden.
