Sealing overhead drum trap cover

Hi, Every overhead drum trap seems to be a different sealing problem. I found an old hardware store that offers thick rubber gaskets that work most times but not always. Any suggestions appreciated, Thanks, Dennis..

the plumber at our shop told me to use a fenco cap with a draw band hope this helps jeff

In Oklahoma, drum traps are not now code. For a plumber, it is far easier to dispense with it, and install a "regular" trap.
If you are not a Plumber and do not have the expertize, then I suggest that a visit to your local automotive parts store, and purchase a can of "Form a Gasket". It is wonderful stuff, and has helped me out many times.
