Anyway to extend the 101 mini tubing cutter to allow for 1&1/2" copper tubing?

Is there anyway to extend the 104/118 mini tubing cutter for allow for 1&1/2" copper tubing?

I would like to use a mini cutter to cut out old bathtub trap risers. I see that a 101 will cut up to 1&1/8" copper, but is it possible to replace the feed screw with a longer one to accomodate the extra 1/2"?

If not, does ridgid have any future plans to make a mini tubing cutter that will cut up to 1&1/2" copper tubing?

I don't think it would work because the rail that the cutter assembly rides on is too short. Also, there is (I believe) a couple of stops you would have to file off to allow the cutter assembly to move further back.

If you are talking about cutting them below floor level you might look into the Ridgid internal tubing cutter. If it is above floor level can you not get a sawzal on it?
