Assembly has gone pretty well on my new 3650. But when I went to install the lower section of the lift, it seems that the holes at the front are just a little bit further apart that the 20" space between the holes in the leg brackets. I loosened all the nuts on the lower assembly thinking I could 'skew' it into place but this didn't work either.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I did download a better manual but it did not shed any light on this issue.

Thanking you in advance!

There is a thread called TS-3650 Assembly Tips, I would highly recommend reading that if you are new. It's in this particular forum (Tips and Techniques).

As for the Herculift, remember to keep all the bolts loose, not just a few.

Jalon, thanks for the comments and you are on target. After sitting back and studying the issue, I realized my mistake was in assuming these holes should line up with the 2 pieces flush together. NADA! By dropping the Herculift piece down the bolts could be inserted and tightened.

All works fine, and I look forward to using the saw and exchanging ideas and tios with this forum.
