Hi.

Has anybody ever taken a Dp apart in the Quill area with the spring that makes it return?

I need to take mine apart and wife lost my manual to the press.

So don't know how the wound spring on the left is put together.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have searched Goggle and no luck on any sites.

BTW A Taiwan Drill press CHIN is the name yes I know but works pretty good I am replacing the bearings ,also 10 plus years old

Thanks

Have you found a place to get the bearings? If so maybe they can copy the page that shows what you need to know.

Check the area of the Ridgid site and see if you can download the manual.

Found them at work 2- 6202's and 1- 6203 did it.

Nice they used standard bearnings that we use in work

Saved a good $30.00

But still wondering how to get that quill apart?

Thanks
