Compound Miter Saw Adjustment

I have a Rigid MS1250 12 inch compound miter saw. When I miter cut 45 degree angles to the right using the indentation, I get exactly 45 degree cuts. When I cut 45 degree angles to the left using the indentations, I get 46 or 47 degree cuts. This is causing all sorts of problems in the casement moldings I'm trying to do for my new windows.

Any suggestions?

Have you checked to make sure that the fence on the LH side of the blade is perpendicular to the blade? It sound like it isn't to me.
