saw an article that compared some drill bits and rigid is supposed to have a bit that is somthing like a scaled down auger bit.
anyone seen or heard of such a thing??

They were in this weeks flyer, it already went in the trash, but if I remember correctly it was a 6 piece set ranging from ½” to 1 & 1/8” for approximately $25.

There is a whole line of bits now. They just hit my store last night. I haven't even looked to see what all is in the box. But they should be showing up everywhere soon.

I have had the make shift auger bits for while now. They bore FAST so watch yourself if you dont want to go all the way through. I think they come close to living up to the way they market them "6X faster than spade bits"

I have been using them for a while now and I love them. I did have one of the screw tips break but took it in and they gave me a new kit
