Whats proper way ?

At the end of the threading on a pipe should you lift the handle to open the dies , plug the motor switch to rev . to quik stop or switch off and coast to stop.

At the end of the threading on a pipe should you lift the handle to open the dies , plug the motor switch to rev . to quik stop or switch off and coast to stop.

on a bench type threader that has the opening die head, lift the handle to open the dies.

on an electric hand threader, stop the machine and then put the threader in reverse.

on a hand threader, stop and reverse the ratchet paw and then continue:D
