whats up with the laser on my new Rigid chop saw?

I put the laser on my new saw and it's off by about a 1/16 or so. I can see no adjustment. The Dewalt my buddy uses is right on. no messing around. I like my rigid. I believe it to be a better saw, it's hard to tell my buddy this when the laser is not correct.
