I am looking at building a kitchen hutch from air dried pine. It has been drying for about 12 months outside and then I have had it stickered and stacked in the basement with a fan blowing on it for about 4-6 weeks. My question is after I plane it do I need to be concerned about the pitch? If so, is there something that I should be sealing it with before I build the hutch? Thanks for the help.....
