just wondering how many are on these fourms.
I am a 2nd year apprentice up in canada training to become a journeyman.

Journeyman/contractor. We don't use the master designation here.
Actually, I am a Journeyman/Contractor as an electrician, plumber, hvac/gas, and general. I guess I get bored easily.

So them you have spent 8 years in each field or did you go to school at the same time take it down to 4 years to your journeyman in each? My brother in law has to take some electrical in his classes but never in the depth i have it. No way in ---- can he pass the tests we take in class. But his is learning something i can't do and that is manage a the whole job. I prefer to work on my own without having to keep an eye on someone else. Unless something is to heavy or difficult to handle I'll get it done myself.
After completing the four year course i can take some extra classes and get an associates degree rather than just a certificate of completion.
