R5010 hammer drill

I have a R5010 and yesterday i was drilling 3/4 holes to run new wires and tiwce i had to use piliers to get the bit out. Has anyone had this problem or heard of it also is there a fix.

I too have had the same problem - not sure keyless chucks are so great for large bits. May have to return this to the store. Hey Rigid experts - any answer to this problem?
