We have cordless everything...
Drill/drivers
Impact/drivers/wrenches
Saws - circular, reciprocating, jig, band, miter, rotary spiral
Rotary hammers and hammer/drills
Vacuums
Compressors
Lighting
Even a cordless Welder.
Why hasn't anyone developed a Jobsite-Rated cordless ventilation fan? I'm mot talking about some "D" battery powered camping fan, but an honest tool quality fan or blower that can use the cordless power tool battery.
I can see many uses for one of these. Such as working in the 125 degree attic, or in an unpowered building, etc.
I recently had to re-punch a 200 pair telephone cable in an unpowered and dark, humid building in the middle of summer. The demarcation point was upstairs and downstairs a leaking (BTW - leaking for months) water heater soaked the carpet. It was about 102 degrees outside, and 100% humidity inside. Definitely needed ventilation and frequent breaks there.
A tool like this would have been instrumental to help increase productivity.
