Anyone have any info regarding the effect (or non effect) of gfci outlets on 110 volt washers and natutral gas dryers?

Are you asking about running the starter for your gas dryer on a GFCI outlet?

your washer should be on its own breaker in your panel and a gfci should be OK if it is just used to start your gas dryer.
Just like in your kitchen you can pick up the 120v outlet needed to start your gas range from one of you small appliance branch circuits.
