I got a chance to purchase a less than 2 weeks old Dewalt DW718 double bevel compound sliding miter saw and want to know opinions from those who have one or have used one. I dont really need it, but really want a sliding saw. I just bought a 10" ridgid CMS and MSUV and really do like it as well.

By the way, my local HD and lowes sells the DW718 for $649.00, I can pick this one up for $350.00, but I have to hurry and make the deal today or it will end up in a pawn shop.

I'd buy it if you have the extra cash. If you find you don't like it you can likely sell it and get your money back out of it if you keep it in good condition.

A very good sliding saw. I have the Dewalt dw708 and yours is a lot lighter. Plus, it will rip an extended 16 inches.
