Fixing sump pump

Have a Ridgid SP500, needs a new Switch/Top Assembly. I see I can order the part... is it recomended that I have a repair person do the replacement or can I do this myself?

i would replace it myself as the cost of the switch and labor is probably more than a whole new pump:eek:

i looked at the part on the website and it appears that the switch is a whole assy. appears to be a do it yourself item.

ridgid warranties that switch up to two years,and it is an easy fix.

i recently changed the switch assembly on my rigid pump, no problem, just keep it upright as the motor is filled with oil.
