I am trying to locate a replacement pad for the 6" Ridgid Orbital Sander (Model R2610). I'm aving a devil of a time locating one online or anywhere. Can someone assist? Any pointers can be e-mailed to me at howie@mac.com

$57.66, are you sure it will not be covered by the warranty?

I think Wayne might have just saved you some money. If you registered this sander under the LLSA Program a replacement pad should be free if the one on your sander is worn out. I'd contact the nearest Ridgid Service Center if I were you.

I wouldn't get his hopes up. What if he wore it down?

As long as it was normal wear and tear that wore out the pad then he should be covered by the LLSA. Only the OP knows for sure whether the sander was abused or not. For all we know, he might just want to have an extra on hand for when the original does wear out
Here is another place to order that part, http://m-and-d.com/search.html?mv_searchtype=text&mv_matchlimit=20&mv_sort_field=category&mv_column_op=ne&mv_column_op=rm&mv_substring_match=yes&mv_case=no&mv_searchspec=339160440&x=32&y=6
