I read in several reviews that the 3650 doesn't have a blade height lock- it does, at least mine does. Read the manual. the plastic knob that attaches the blade height adjusting wheel also serves as the lock if you tighten it down. I'm sure most users know that here, but if you're looking around considering this saw don't hold that against it.
